Premiering on Hulu,”On the Brink,” a 50 minute documentary from ABC News Studios and anchored by Diane Sawyer and Rachel Scott, covers the stories of several pregnant women (including 6 women from Texas) who have medical emergencies in states with laws restricting abortions and the physicians caught in a legal web when trying to provide essential healthcare. Some had to travel hundreds of miles to receive necessary care, spending money they didn’t have, all while coping with the pain, anxiety, and grief of losing a child they desperately wanted. They hope by speaking publicly about their experiences that changes to the laws will be made so other women do not have to suffer. Watch the documentary here.
